Final Injury Report for Jazz-Clippers, Will Lauri Markkanen, Keyonte George Play?

The Los Angeles Clippers are at home on Thursday night as they host the Utah Jazz in a Western Conference matchup.

Los Angeles enters Thursday’s game with an 11-21 record after defeating the Sacramento Kings at home in dominant fashion on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Kings, Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers as he recorded 33 points, five rebounds and five assists while James Harden added 21 points and five assists of his own.

Now Los Angeles will try to extend their winning streak to six games on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Jazz team.

On the other side, Utah enters Thursday’s contest with a 12-120 record after losing at home to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.

Keyonte George led the way for the Jazz in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 37 points, six rebounds and seven assists while Jusuf Nurkic recorded 26 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Jazz Injury Report, Will Lauri Markkanen, Keyonte George Play?

For the Jazz, they have seven players listed on their injury report, including both Lauri Markkanen and George.

Utah has listed Markkanen as questionable due to a left knee contusion and he is in danger of missing his first game since December 23.

If Markkanen is sidelined, Svi Mykhailiuk and Taylor Hendricks could be in line for an increased role.

The Jazz have also listed George as questionable with an illness and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.

If George is sidelined against the Clippers, Isaiah Collier and Walter Clayton Jr. could have an increased role.

Ace Bailey has been ruled out due to a left hip flexor strain as he will miss his third consecutive contest.

Kevin Love has also been ruled out due to rest while Jusuf Nurkic will be sidelined de to a toe injury.

Walker Kessler and Georges Niang remain sidelined as they continue to recover from injuries.

Clippers Injury Report, Will Bogdan Bogdanovic Play?

On the other side, the Clippers have four players listed on their injury report, including Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Los Angeles has ruled out Bogdanovic due to left hamstring injury management as he will miss his third consecutive contest.

With Bogdanovic sidelined, Jordan Miller and Cam Christie could both be in line for larger roles.

The Clippers have also ruled out Ivica Zubac as he continues to recover from a left ankle sprain.

Bradley Beal has also been ruled out as will miss the remainder of the season with a left hip fracture while Chris Paul remains away from the team.
