Full injury report for Joel Embiid, Sixers vs. Mavericks on the road

The Philadelphia 76ers will continue their road trip on Thursday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks to begin the 2026 portion of the schedule. The Sixers will look to build off their thrilling win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and move forward with their season.

As far as the injury report is concerned, Trendon Watford (left adductor strain) remains sidelined. The 5-year forward out of LSU is continuing to work his way back from the injury as the Sixers are working him back into team activities. He hasn’t played since Nov. 25.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (left knee sprain) has not played since Nov. 14. He remains out as he is in the same boat as Watford with Philadelphia looking to integrate him into team activities again.

Joel Embiid (right knee injury management) is listed as probable. The big fella has been on a tear as of late averaging 30.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks over his last five games.

Tip off from the American Airlines Center is set for 8:30 p.m. EST on New Year’s Day.
