SAN FRANCISCO — Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green picked up two technical fouls and was ejected after arguing with the referees during Saturday night’s game against the Utah Jazz.
With about 2:30 left in the second quarter, Green was guarding Jazz big man Kyle Filipowski and told the officials that Filipowski should have been called for a three-second violation. Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen then made a short basket while Green continued arguing.
Green was given a technical foul, got another one moments later and was tossed.
It was the 25th time in Green’s career he has been ejected and the second time in his last seven games. He also left the bench early during a win over the Orlando Magic on Dec. 22 after a heated argument with coach Steve Kerr.
