Ground delay issued at LAX due to staffing issues, according to FAA

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A ground delay is in place at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Saturday evening due to staffing issues, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The FAA’s website shows a ground delay, with flights heading to LAX seeing delays averaging 98 minutes. All contiguous U.S. departures are included.

The ground delay first began at 6:57 p.m. and could last through midnight.
