AMES — The Iowa State women’s basketball team is getting a big opponent on a big stage Sunday, Jan. 4.
The 10th-ranked Cyclones will host No. 21 Baylor at Hilton Coliseum. ESPN will televise the 2 p.m. CT game.
It’s a huge game for Iowa State, which is 14-0 on the season including 2-0 in Big 12 Conference play. Another win would mark the best start in school history.
Iowa State’s 14-0 record matches the 2013-14 team’s start. The Cyclones are coming off an 80-62 win at Houston on Dec. 31.
