Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced they have worked out yet another character’s real identity.
The ITV singing competition returned for its seventh season on Saturday (January 3), with a new batch of celebrities going to extreme lengths to hide their identities while belting out classic tunes.
Sunday (January 4) night’s episode welcomed characters Conkers, Arctic Fox, Monkey Business Teabag, Toastie and Yak. Panellists Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan were, as always, tasked with trying to unmask the singers.
However, viewers at home think they instantly cracked the case of Teabag’s true identity, following their performance of Deep Blue Something’s hit nineties song ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans have shared theories that Teabag is actually former England Rugby player and Royal Mike Tindall.
One penned: “Teabag: I know this may sound wild, but could it be Mike Tindall (Rugby player, and married to Zara Phillips) #MaskedSingerUK #TheMaskedSingerUK.”
Someone else replied, stating: “My husband said the same.” While a third agreed: “Teabag… I think that’s Mike Tindall’s voice! #MaskedSingerUK.”
And a fourth viewer shared the same theory, stating: “#Teabag…. Mike Tindall? Royal-ty connection – and that husk in a voice that kinda does sound like him. #MaskedSingerUK.”
With yet another fan replying: “Oh that’s a good shout.”
Sports fans will know Tindall as a celebrated Rugby star, who was on the England squad during their 2003 World Cup triumph. The 47-year-old is married to equestrian Zara Phillips, daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.

Viewers have been treated to even more mystery this season as host Joel Dommett introduced the new The Masked Singer Band, which features one well-known celebrity hiding behind a mask.
Tonight, the Antarctic Funkeys took centre stage with their lead singer Emperor Penguin’s identity completely concealed. It was later revealed that the superstar behind the mask was TV legend Matt Lucas (Little Britain).
Just last night, the band was fronted by Goldfish and performed Bruno Mars and Rose’s hit song APT. The lead singer was later revealed to be chart-topper Anne-Marie, which fans had correctly guessed.
The Masked Singer is available to stream on ITVX
