Chiefs vs. Raiders: K.C., Las Vegas announce inactives for Week 18

The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders released their list of inactive players before their Week 18 matchup at Allegiant Stadium for the regular-season finale.

Kansas City is looking to end a five-game skid after losing last week’s Christmas night game to the Denver Broncos in Week 17.

Las Vegas is trying to finish its season in the win column after last week’s loss to the New York Giants in Week 17.

Here are the inactive players for the Chiefs:

  • WR Xavier Worthy
  • RB Isiah Pacheco
  • DB Melvin Smith
  • DL George Karlaftis
  • DL Tyreke Smith
  • OL Trey Smith
  • DL Mike Pennel

Here are the inactive players for the Raiders:

  • QB Geno Smith
  • OL Dylan Parham
  • DL Adam Butler
  • RB Raheem Mostert
  • DB Chigozie Anusiem
  • DB Terrell Edmunds
  • DL Brodric Martin

During the season, inactives are players ruled out of a game and will not participate, even though they are on the active roster.

The Chiefs and their opponent must announce the listed inactive players an hour and a half before kickoff. The designation can be due to injury, coaching decisions, or various alternative reasons.
