SAG nominations 2026: Full list of Actor Awards nominees

The actors have spoken.

The nominations for the 32nd Actor Awards — formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards — were announced Wednesday morning. And, as recently elected SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin emphasized during his opening remarks, what distinguishes the Actor Awards from other honors is that “it is created exclusively by actors and for actors.”

“One Battle After Another” led the film side. Paul Thomas Anderson’s black comedy earned seven total nods, including individual performance recognition for actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn. The film was also nominated for its cast and stunt ensemble.

Also among the top film nominees was Ryan Coogler’s genre-defying musical horror “Sinners,” with five. Actors Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku and Miles Caton each earned individual nominations for their performances. The film’s cast and stunt ensemble were also nominated in their respective categories.

The casts of “Frankenstein,” “Hamnet” and “Marty Supreme” rounded out the nominees in the top film category.

On the TV side, industry satire “The Studio” showed its might with five noms. Creator Seth Rogen and his fellow stars Kathryn Hahn, Catherine O’Hara and Ike Barinholtz were each nominated for their individual performance to go along with the show’s ensemble nod. “The White Lotus” and “Adolescence” followed with four nominations each.

During his opening remarks, Astin also acknowledged last year’s devastating wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles as well as the union’s upcoming negotiations with Hollywood studios.

“Presented by SAG-AFTRA,” Astin said. “What stands behind that phrase is nearly a century of our union’s history and the hard work and professionalism and dedication of generations of performers. … And as we head into our upcoming negotiations, I want to acknowledge the historic level of member participation in our pre-negotiation meetings.”

“This level of engagement continues to exemplify the solidarity and strength of our union.”

“Abbott Elementary” star Janelle James and “Heated Rivalry” heartthrob Connor Storrie were tapped to make the announcement, which was streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel from the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson Screening Room.

The 32nd Actor Awards will stream live March 1 on Netflix. “Indiana Jones” and “Star Wars” actor Harrison Ford will be presented the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award during the telecast.
