Motorcyclist who died in weekend Ooltewah crash now identified

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — UPDATE (Monday):
Authorities have identified the victim as Christopher Swartout
EARLIER:
A man was found dead on the side of the road after crashing his motorcycle in Ooltewah early Sunday morning, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
That release says the crash happened around 4 a.m. near the 6400 block of Ooltewah Georgetown Road.
Deputies found a man laying dead near his motorcycle on the scene. Investigators found that the man had ridden off the curve in the road, hitting a tree and a fence before stopping in a yard.
HCSO says this accident is still being investigated.
