The Hawkeyes (12-4, 2-3 Big Ten) are coming two straight losses, most recently 75-69 to Illinois. The Boilermakers (15-1, 5-0) have won seven straight games, including 93-85 over Penn State last time out.

Tyler Tachman, Hawk Central: This matchup falls into a category similar to the road games against Michigan State and Iowa State. The Hawkeyes put up a good showing in one of those two games, but didn’t win either.
It would take a monumental effort for the Hawkeyes to go into Mackey Arena, one of the most difficult road atmospheres in college basketball, and upset a Purdue team that is riding a 7-game winning streak.
Given the way that Iowa has played on the road this season, it’s difficult to see that happening.
