Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the second Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite 2025-26 semi-final between Saurashtra and Punjab at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 in Bengaluru on Friday (January 16). The Harvik Desai-led Saurashtra pipped Uttar Pradesh by 17 runs (by VJD method) in a rain-hit quarter-final to get here, while Prabhsimran Singh’s Punjab thumped Madhya Pradesh by a whopping 183 runs in another last-eight game. The winner of this clash will meet Vidarbha, who prevailed over defending champions Karnataka earlier, in the final.
