Miami superfan and porn star Abella Danger emerges as CFP’s breakout star

An unexpected name emerged from the pool of College Football Playoff storylines this season: Abella Danger.
An adult film star and Miami Hurricanes superfan, Abella sent social media into a frenzy last month when she appeared on the ESPN broadcast of the team’s 10-3 road win over Texas A&M in the first round of the CFP.
Dressed in a white crop top and an orange mini skirt, Abella could hardly contain her excitement in College Station, where the 10th-seeded Hurricanes punched their tickets to Arlington for a Cotton Bowl date against the reigning champion Ohio State Buckeyes.

“The fact that in my lifetime I got to witness Miami beat A&M on their home turf with 98,000 of their fans and only 2000 something miami fans in attendance is something i will never ever forget,” Abella, a full-time student at Miami, posted on Instagram.
The Hurricanes closed out 2025 with a 24-14 victory against the Buckeyes on Dec. 31, advancing to the semifinal Fiesta Bowl versus No. 6 Ole Miss.
Miami, guided by coach Mario Cristobal, edged out the Rebels in a 31-27 thriller in Arizona on Jan. 8 for the chance to win the program’s first national title since 2001.
“THE U IS GOING TO THE NATTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she exclaimed on Instagram one day after the victory.
“I CANNOT BREATHE I AM SO HAPPY FOR THIS TEAM THAT HAS WORKED SO HARD ALL SEASON, YOU ARE ALL LEGENDS!!!!!”

Some of Abella’s 9.5 million Instagram followers celebrated Miami’s latest triumph with her.
“You are the good luck charm,” one user commented.
“Your [sic] the reason I’m pulling for Miami!” another wrote.
The stage is set for Monday’s national championship game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, where the Hurricanes will take on the undefeated top-seeded Indiana Hoosiers.
