A man has been injured in a gun attack in north Belfast.
The man, who is in his late 30s, is said to have been shot once in each leg in Strathroy Park just before 20:00 GMT on Tuesday.
Police said paramedics treated the victim and his injuries, while very severe, were not likely to be fatal.
Social Democratic and Labour Party councillor Carl Whyte said the man was shot in an alleyway in a paramilitary-style attack.
