Newly Oscar-nominated Teyana Taylor hosted on January 24 with Musical Guests Geese, helping us to laugh through the cold dark nights of winter.

Yes! A new episode of SNL — the third one of 2026, which also just so happens to be the 1000th episode of SNL ever — airs tonight at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.

Who is the January 31 SNL Host and Musical Guest?
Alexander Skarsgård and Cardi B.
Skarsgård is making his SNL debut in the midst of two movie releases. The Moment, which just hit theaters on January 30, is a mockumentary in which he stars as Charli xcx’s tour director. Pillion, premiering on February 6, is a kinky romcom about two bikers. Skarsgård is known for his quirky, unexpected tastes in movies, TV, and fashion, so we’re anticipating a weird and wonderful episode tonight.
Cardi B is making her grand return to SNL for the first time since she first performed on April 7, 2018. She headlined as Musical Guest with Host Chadwick Boseman and promoted her first album Invasion of Privacy. Now, she’s back for her second album, Am I the Drama?
During her first episode, the rapper also appeared in the pre-taped sketch “Aidy B & Cardi B,” in which Aidy Bryant was inspired by how honest and open the rapper tends to be and decided to channel her confidence.
