Eile signs for City

Bristol City have signed Noah Eile from New York Red Bulls for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old defender has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, with the option of a further year.
Following two years in New York, Eile links up with Gerhard Struber’s side, becoming City’s sixth signing of the January transfer window.
Eile started his professional career in his native Sweden and has represented his country at Under-21 level.
On joining Bristol City, Eile spoke of his excitement to play his football at Ashton Gate.
He said: “To come here is a dream, I feel so happy and cannot wait to get going. It is very exciting times for the club and the second part of the season is very important and I cannot wait to get started and win some games.”
Gerhard Struber has praised his career so far, saying: “We are excited to have Noah at our club. He has shown consistency with his performances in the MLS with the Red Bulls.
“His attitude and his mentality are big wins for us, and we want to develop him now in the world of Championship football in our typical style.
Technical Director Brian Tinnion added: “Noah is a player we have been looking at for a while and one we are very pleased to get over the line in this window.
“He will bring a calmness and to the back line and we are looking forward to him progressing with us.”
