Right now, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots are busy preparing for the biggest game of the season, with the Lombardi Trophy on the line, and soon we’ll see them in action. That’s why NBC Sports will offer a full afternoon of pregame programming leading up to the Big Game, including exciting sights around the San Francisco Bay, a peek at the NFL Tailgate, tons of A-list stars and much more. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store.

What time does Super Bowl coverage start on Sunday?
NBC’s coverage of the Super Bowl will officially launch at Noon Eastern with the debut of Road to the Super Bowl, a new hourlong NFL Films documentary spotlighting the path the Patriots and Seahawks took to get to this year’s Big Game. After the film, at 1 p.m. Eastern, the official Super Bowl LX Pregame Show begins on NBC and Peacock, hosted by Maria Taylor and co-hosted by Noah Eagle and Jac Collinsworth.
It all leads up to the Big Game itself, which arrives at 6:30 p.m. Eastern live on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo.

What to expect from NBC’s Super Bowl coverage: Live from Alcatraz and More
Five and half hours is a lot of time to fill with pregame coverage, so you might be wondering what the NBC team plans to deliver in all that time. Well, we don’t know everything yet, so you can expect a few surprises, but here are just a few of the features coming our way.
Members of the pregame show team, including Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, and Jac Collinsworth, will be reporting live from Alcatraz, the historic island site of the world-famous former high-security prison. An icon of the Bay Area, Alcatraz is a national landmark with a rich history, and NBC’s football coverage will be supplemented with stories from the island’s history and cultural significance, including “unprecedented” views of the island and the surrounding bay.
Throughout the day, NBC Sports will also bring you live performances from the official NFL Tailgate concert, segments on both teams and their key players, expert analysis, and much more, including work from Chris Simms, Jason Garrett, Mike Florio, NBC News’ political correspondent Steve Kornacki, betting analysis from Matthew Berry, and live reports from the NFL Tailgate by Kit Hoover.
Maria Taylor serves as the lead host for the Super Bowl LX Pregame Show and hosts the Vince Lombardi Trophy presentation – her first time in both roles.
Locations that will be featured in the pre-game coverage includes Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge, McCovey Cove, PIER 39, Treasure Island, Super Bowl Experience at the Moscone Center, Bay Bridge, Patriots Team Hotel and the Seahawks Team Hotel.
It all leads up to Super Bowl LX, where the broadcast team will feature Sunday Night Football mainstays Cris Collinsworth, Mike Tirico, Terry McAulay, Melissa Stark, and Kaylee Hartung.
And of course, all NBC Super Bowl coverage will be preceded and followed by coverage of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
Presidential interview, Reality Hot Seat and more in Super Bowl LX pre-game
Pre-game coverage will be loaded with celebrities, ranging from the president of the United States to a bevy or Bravo reality stars. Snoop Dogg and Olympic snowboarding gold medalist Shaun White join live from Milan. Beloved actor Stanley Tucci will share some culture and cuisine tips from northern Italy, and Scott Hanson will provide a Peacock Gold Zone whip-around show update.
President Trump Interview: Viewers will get a chance to see NBC News’ Tom Llamas’ chat with President Donald Trump in an exclusive interview airing during the 3 p.m. ET hour of the Super Bowl LX Pregame Show.
Super Bowl LX Reality Hot Seat Sailgate: Bravo and Peacock reality stars will sail on a boat stopping at notable Bay Area attractions including Treasure Island, Bay Farm Island Bridge, McCovey Cove, PIER 39, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The guest list includes: Tom Colicchio from Bravo’s Top Chef; Dorinda Medley from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City and Peacock’s The Traitors; Kate Chastain from Bravo’s Below Deck and Peacock’s House of Villains; Kyle Cooke from Bravo’s Summer House; West Wilson from Bravo’s Summer House; Candiace Dillard Bassett from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac and Peacock’s The Traitors; Johnny Middlebrooks from Peacock’s Love Island USA, Love Island Games and House of Villains.
