NJ Transit, Amtrak Trains to NYC See Long Delays on Wire Issues

New Jersey Transit resumed rail service Monday between New York’s Penn Station and Trenton that had been suspended earlier because of a downed overhead wire. Amtrak had also canceled some trains between Philadelphia and New York City, but some service resumed with delays.
New Jersey Transit trains were running behind schedule in and out of Manhattan’s Penn Station. Amtrak warned service between Philadelphia and New York City may be delayed because of one train that was stopped for two hours just south of Penn Station.
