Konami has revealed the second Metal Gear Collection and yes, it contains Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. You also get Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version), which was originally playable on PSP and PS3.
Set in a near future dominated by privatised militaries, Guns of the Patriots follows an aged and rapidly deteriorating Solid Snake, now known as Old Snake. His accelerated ageing is a side effect of his cloning, and he is given one final mission: assassinate his old nemesis, Liquid Ocelot.
In a plot that seems even more probable now than when the game launched in 2008, wars are now run by an AI network known as the Patriots, which regulates soldiers through nanomachines in their bodies. These systems maintain a constant state of global conflict for economic stability.Snake travels through war zones in the Middle East, South America, Eastern Europe and finally Shadow Moses Island, confronting familiar faces and long-buried secrets. Along the way, he reunites with allies including Otacon, Meryl Silverburgh and Raiden.
Set in 1974, Peace Walker follows Naked Snake, now known as Big Boss, after the events of Snake Eater. Having left the Patriots, he forms a mercenary army called Militaires Sans Frontières (MSF) in Costa Rica, offering soldiers without borders a place to fight on their own terms.
