Shia LaBeouf has allegedly been “terrorising” New Orleans on Mardi Gras bar crawl

Shia LaBeouf has allegedly been “terrorising” New Orleans during a bar crawl, according to claims made in a new article.
The US city is currently celebrating its Mardi Gras festival, and The Hollywood Reporter described the Transformers actor as being “on an extended-weekend bar crawl in the city’s Uptown neighbourhood since Thursday (February 12)”, citing testimony from various bar employees.
Robert Skuse, a doorman at the New Orleans bar Ms Mae’s, described the actor as “inebriated” and “somewhat belligerent” during a visit on Sunday (February 15), with the article claiming he arrived at the bar without a shirt or cash. A patron claimed to have witnessed the actor during a visit to live jazz club Dos Jefes, telling the reporter: “He was louder than everyone and was giving acting instructions to a girl at the bar.”
A bar employee who wished to remain anonymous told the outlet: “He is terrorizing the city!” Shia LaBeouf is yet to comment publicly on the claims, and at the time of writing has not responded to requests for comment from the outlet. On February 15, he posted an image of himself on X (formerly Twitter) wearing Mardi Gras beads.

Last year, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor had discussed becoming sober, crediting actors Mel Gibson, Sean Penn, and Josh Brolin with helping him start his journey.
Beginning his career as a child actor, Shia LaBeouf achieved film stardom in the late 2000s through the Transformers franchise, as well as appearing in the fourth Indiana Jones film. The actor would eventually turn away from blockbuster movies, however, preferring to appear in independent film and embark on a series of highly publicised performance art projects such as watching a marathon of his own films, and occupying a lift in Oxford.
The actor most recently worked with Francis Ford Coppola on Megalopolis, the ambitious science fiction drama, and was captured arguing with the film-maker in a behind the scenes clip included in the making-of documentary Megadoc.
