D.C. winter storm forecast: How much snow will fall

A powerful coastal storm is poised to bring rain, snow and wind to the D.C. area Sunday into Monday, threatening a new round of disruptions just as last month’s snow and ice have finally melted.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for most of the area, because of the possibility of heavy snowfall and gusty winds, anticipated to peak Sunday night.
