The goal is $500,000 to help pay for education and other stuff, and so far, they have raised more than $283,000 from more than 2,300 donors.
Sam Levinson and his wife, Ashley, are also donors and have contributed $27,000, according to the fundraising page.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Eric Dane after a hard-fought battle with ALS, leaving behind his devoted wife, Rebecca, and his two teenage daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world,” the fundraising page reads.
“Following his diagnosis, Eric became a passionate spokesperson for the ALS community, using his voice and platform to advocate for fellow patients and to push for greater awareness. Even as his own health declined, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease.”
The fundraising page also says that Eric Dane’s illness progressed much quicker than anyone could have ever imagined, which is why friends created the fundraising page to help pay for Eric Dane’s daughters’ futures.
“Any contribution, no matter the size, will help provide stability during this incredibly difficult time and in the future for Eric’s wonderful daughters. Thank you,” the fundraising message ends.
Eric Dane is survived by his wife, Gayheart, and his two daughters.
