Canucks’ Brisebois, Blues’ Fabbri placed on waivers

The Vancouver Canucks placed defenceman Guillaume Brisebois on waivers on Sunday for the purpose of assignment to the American Hockey League.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Guillaume Brisebois has been placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Abbotsford (AHL).

The 28-year-old has not played in the NHL or AHL this season.
Over 30 career games in the NHL with the Canucks, Brisebois has one goal and two assists. He was selected by Vancouver in the third-round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
Brisebois is playing on a one-year, $775,000 contract.
Robby Fabbri also on waivers
The St. Louis Blues placed veteran forward Robby Fabbri on waivers on Sunday.
The 30-year-old has played in only 15 games this season, recording one goal and three assists. He has one goal and one assist over three games in the AHL with the Charlotte Checkers.
Blues forward Robert Thomas was activated from the injured reserve on Sunday, meaning the Blues needed to clear a roster spot.
Fabbri has 107 goals and 113 assists over 457 career games with the Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks.
The Mississauga native, who’s on a one-year, $775,000 deal, helped the Blues win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history in 2019.
