Odessa is nominated alongside Ariana Grande for Wicked: For Good, Amy Madigan for Weapons, Wunmi Mosaku for Sinners, and Teyana Taylor for One Battle After Another.
“What the hell?” she told Deadline when reacting to the announcement. “My brain is still loading because I just woke up.”
She also confirmed that she’d already spoken to her Marty Supreme costar, Timothée Chalamet, about the nomination, and that he was thrilled for her. “I just talked to Timothée for a second and it’s crazy,” she said. “I don’t even know what to say or think. He was just like, ‘Congratulations. We did it.’ Just a bunch of nice things, and it’s so exciting to be nominated together.”
