In recent weeks, Akshay Bhatia and his wife, Presleigh Shultz, have been sharing more details about their December 2025 wedding, giving fans a closer look at the couple’s big day.
Most recently, the newlyweds appeared on the cover of Over the Moon Magazine’s February issue. Here, they opened up about the celebration, the emotions, and even a late-night tee time after saying “I do.”
The feature offered an intimate look into the couple’s relationship and the personal touches that made their wedding unique. From meaningful locations to golf-inspired details, Bhatia and Shultz made sure the celebration reflected both of their personalities.
Meanwhile, Bhatia continues to make headlines on the course. As he begins Sunday’s round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational tied for second place, it’s likely Shultz is nearby cheering him on. The influencer has made her support for her husband clear on social media. Her Instagram bio even gives a playful shoutout to the golfer, reading: “Somewhere watching Akshay golf.”

In the interview with Over the Moon, Shultz reflected on the emotional moments leading up to the ceremony.
“All morning, I was overwhelmed with emotion excitement, nerves, joy, and anticipation all at once,” Said Shultz to Over the Moon. “But the second I reached the end of the aisle and stood face to face with Akshay, everything else melted away.”
The celebration made sure to blend elegance with the couple’s love of golf. After the ceremony, the newlyweds did something fitting: they headed out for a late-night tee-time on the course.
The Bahamas was a natural choice for the wedding, given its significance in Bhatia’s career. In January 2022, the then-19-year-old golfer earned a breakthrough victory at the The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic at Sandals Emerald Bay on the Korn Ferry Tour. Shultz was there supporting him during that milestone moment, making the location even more meaningful when it came time to celebrate.
Golf Inspired Wedding Details
Golf also influenced several of the wedding’s smaller details, including Bhatia’s wardrobe. According to Shultz, watching him prepare his outfit was one of her favorite parts of the planning process.
“Watching Akshay build his wedding wardrobe was really fun, especially because it’s rare to see him in anything other than golf clothes and a Callaway hat,” Shultz said.
For the ceremony, Bhatia worked closely with the fashion brand Elevee to create a custom black-and-white tuxedo. While the suit looked classic on the outside, the inside held a special surprise.
Inside the jacket lining, Bhatia had a collage of photos sewn into the fabric. This was something he kept a secret until the wedding day. Shultz recalled how excited he was to show her that he added such a deeply personal touch to the look.
Bhatia completed the outfit with black Christian Louboutin dress shoes and wore a Daytona Rolex. The watch was something Bhatia purchased for himself after qualifying for the Tour Championship last season.
From personal fashion choices to a celebratory swing under the lights, the couple’s wedding blended romance and personality perfectly. As Bhatia continues competing on the PGA Tour, it’s clear he has a supportive partner by his side, both on and off the course.
