Final Injury Report for Nets-Hawks: Will Jonathan Kuminga, Michael Porter Jr. Play?

The Atlanta Hawks are at home on Thursday night as they host the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Mavericks, Jalen Johnson led the way for the Hawks as he recorded 27 points, seven rebounds and eight assists while Nickeil Alexader-Walker added 29 points and three assists of his own.
Now Atlanta will try to grab their eighth consecutive victory at home on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Nets team.
On the other side, Brooklyn enters Thursday’s contest with a 17-48 record after losing at home to the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.

Michael Porter Jr. led the way for the Nets in Tuesday’s loss as he ended the game with 19 points and two rebounds while Danny Wolf recorded 13 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Nets, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Porter Jr. and Nolan Traore.

Brooklyn has ruled out Porter Jr. due to a right ankle sprain as he will miss his first game since March 9.
With Porter Jr. sidelined, Wolf, Jalen Wilson and Ochai Agbaji could all be in line for increased roles.

The Nets have also ruled out Traore due to rest as he will miss his first game since January 17, which could allow for Ben Saraf and Terence Mann to have larger roles, especially with Egor Demin set to miss the remainder of the season.
Day’Ron Sharpe has been ruled out due to a left thumb sprain while Ziaire Williams has been listed as questionable with an illness.

On the other side, the Hawks have two players listed on their injury report as they have listed both Jonathan Kuminga and Dyson Daniels as questionable.

Atlanta has listed Kuminga as questionable due to a left knee bone bruise and he is in danger of missing his fourth straight game.
If Kuminga is sidelined once again, Corey Kispert, Zaccharie Risacher and Mouhamed Gueye could all continue to have larger roles.

The Hawks have also listed Daniels as questionable due to a left great toe sprain and he is in danger of missing his first game since February 9.
