Jones (5-9, 185) is a ten-year NFL veteran who went undrafted and signed with the New England Patriots in 2016. Jones spent his first nine NFL seasons in New England before signing with Washington last offseason.

In 2024, Jones appeared in 17 games for New England and tallied 58 tackles, six passes defended, and two forced fumbles. He started at least 14 games for the third consecutive season. Jones started a career-high 16 games in 2022 and posted career-highs in tackles (68), interceptions (4), and passes defended (11).

In 2025, Jones started 12 games, logging 41 tackles, five passes defended, and 0 interceptions. Jones has allowed a career-high 13.4 yards per catch in back-to-back seasons. He’ll compete with Kelee Ringo, Jakorian Bennett, Michael Carter II, Ambry Thomas, Tariq Castro-Fields, and Mac McWilliams for a spot on the 53-man roster.
