Rose Byrne is dressed like a winner in waiting at the 2026 Oscars.
Tonight, Byrne is nominated for Best Actress for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. While the actor has embraced Old Hollywood glamour over the past few months (see: the green Chanel Atonement-esque dress she wore to the Golden Globes), she’s closing out awards season with a bang in custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson.

Byrne wore a black crepe strapless dress with blooming flowers embroidered along the bodice and hem, based on look 35 from Anderson’s Dior couture debut. But instead of the asymmetrical, drapey dress that walked the spring 2026 couture runway, Byrne opted for a classic mermaid silhouette. Stylist Kate Young finished off the look with a sculptural Taffin necklace, an inverted pear-shaped cognac diamond resting on her sternum. On the beauty front, the actor kept it classic: a sleek low bun and a striking red lip.
