Mosaku and Moseley are parents.

The pair have not disclosed personal details, like their child’s name, and Mosaku didn’t publicly mention that she was a mom until a year following the birth.

“With my first pregnancy I didn’t say anything about my daughter until, I think after we wrapped on Sinners. … Over a year after she was born,” the actress said during a March 2026 interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Mosaku has been private about her motherhood journey, but she gave her child a shout-out during her acceptance speech at the BAFTA Awards in February 2026.

“To my daughter. You are my greatest teacher. I am most proud of you. Everything begins and ends with you,” she said.

Moseley and Mosaku’s family will be growing later this year. At the 2026 Golden Globes, Mosaku revealed she was pregnant with her second child.

When she made her red carpet arrival at the awards show, Vogue released a personal essay written by Mosaku, in which she spoke about her intention to “get ahead of speculation and questions” with the announcement.

“Truthfully, I’d love to just show up as me — a woman who happens to be pregnant — celebrating our powerful film and our amazing team, while I protect this most sacred prayer of my life,” she wrote. “So, I’ve decided to stop trying to camouflage my bump today at the Golden Globes, so me and baby can truly enjoy and embrace the moment fully together.”

Mosaku later told host Kelly Clarkson that she was accustomed to following the Yoruba tradition of “protecting” her pregnancy and not revealing details about it.

“We don’t do baby showers, we don’t make an announcement until the baby’s here,” Mosaku said. “We don’t even name the baby for eight days.”

“I heard my husband on the phone and asked him why he was up,” she recalled to The Times in February 2026. “He said, ‘Baby, you just got nominated for an Oscar.’ I said, ‘No, the announcement’s at 8.30am.’ “

Moseley has been with Mosaku throughout her awards season journey, accompanying her to events like the Oscars Nominees Luncheon and the BAFTA Film Awards.
