Former members of Team Gushue are coming together to form a new curling rink based in Alberta.
Brendan Bottcher plans to skip an Alberta-based curling team alongside Geoff Walker for the upcoming curling season.
The two represented Newfoundland and Labrador under the Team Gushue rink, which ended with Brad Gushue’s swan song at the Mary Browns Centre earlier this month.
Jacob and Tanner Horgan are also joining the team, having played last year in Northern Ontario.
There is no word on where long-time third Mark Nichols plans to play next year.
