According to downdetector.com, reports of issues starting pouring in just after 6 p.m. Eastern, on Friday, March 13.
Discord is a communication application that allows text and voice messaging, video calls and file sharing.
According to the site, 60 percent of the problems were on the app, 20 percent stuck on the login page and another 10 percent had problems with voice calls.
Some users report being able to use it, but complaints continued to roll in after 11 p.m.
