Gauthier did not travel with the Ducks to San Jose after leaving a 5-4 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday; Anaheim coach Joel Quenneville said the forward is “questionable at best” to return by the weekend. … Gudas, a defenseman who also was injured Monday, is on the trip but won’t play Wednesday. … The Sharks held an optional morning skate. … Klingberg, a defenseman, is healthy but won’t play, San Jose coach Ryan Warsofsky said. … Chernyshov will be a game-time decision because of an illness; if he cannot play, Dellandrea, a forward, would enter the lineup for the first time since Jan. 6.
