Birmingham Bullring store ‘ordered to improve’ after failing hygiene inspection

A Birmingham Bullring store was ordered to improve hygiene after a recent inspection.
Millie’s Cookies serves sweet treats across the UK stretching from Aberdeen to Brighton.
But one thing less sweet about the Birmingham branch is its score in hygiene.

On February 12, Millie’s Cookies received a score of ‘2’ (improvement necessary) from the Food Standards Agency.
Anything below a score of ‘3’ is considered an automatic fail from local authorities.

Store cleanliness, hygiene and food storage include areas assessed during a hygiene inspection.
Out of 53 locations in the United Kingdom, the Birmingham store is the only Millie’s Cookies failing in food hygiene.

However, it is not the only Bullring store failing in hygiene.
