San Antonio Spurs announced that Victor Wembanyama won’t return to Monday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a left rib contusion, according to The Athletic’s Jared Weiss.
Wembanyama appeared to sustain the injury in the second quarter following a collision. He briefly spent time in the Spurs’ locker room before returning to the game before halftime.
