Full list of 96 NatWest, Lloyds and Halifax branches closing before July

Major banks are set to close even more branches across the UK this year. In the first half of 2026, close to 100 NatWest, Halifax and Lloyds branches will close up and down the country. A number of banks have explained that most of their customers have moved to online or in-app banking for the majority of services, reducing the need for in-person banking.
Campaigners have argued that these in-person services are often vital for older and more vulnerable bank customers, and stress the importance of these customers having access to cash and in-person banking services. Back in 2023, a report by the charity Age UK revealed that four in 10 older people do not manage their money online, therefore relying more heavily on in-person banking services. The closures come amid fears for the health of the high street, as many retail stores face closure due to rising operational costs and more people shopping online.
Here are all of the NatWest, Lloyds and Halifax branches closing before July 2026, with their expected closing dates.
