Remy Ma Appears to Take Shots at Papoose and Claressa Shields on New Track “Why You F*cking Lying”

Remy Ma has dropped off a new track called “W.Y.F.L.” — and she appears to be taking shots at Papoose and Claressa Shields in the song’s lyrics.

On Friday (April 10), the Bronx rapper took to Instagram to announce the new record, which uses DJ Mac and CrashDummy’s viral “WYFL Riddim,” flipping the beat’s original “Wah Yuh Feel Like” acronym to “Why You Fucking Lying.”

“W.Y.F.L …out now on all platforms! #RemThePen Wait for what?! Link in bio 😎,” she wrote, before shouting out the track’s producers.

While there are plenty of moments throughout the track that appear as if Remy is speaking about her estranged husband Papoose and his new boo, boxer Claressa Shields, there’s one set of bars in particular that stand out.

“The nerve of n***as claiming they wrote those hits / When they whole career they ain’t never ghost wrote shit / Not for me or anybody else / You always act like you helped a n***a, go help yourself,” she raps on the track.

Last year, Papoose, in the midst of his and Remy’s messy breakup, claimed in an IG Live that he wrote “90 percent of the rhymes that came out of [his wife’s] mouth.” He also claimed that he wrote the Terror Squad rapper’s 2006 hit “Conceited.”

Elsewhere on the new track, Remy Ma seemingly shades Shields with a couple of bars, spitting: “In competition with herself, I don’t know that bitch / Hoes be doing the most over so-so dick / Wanna be a baddie but you not bad enough.“

Fat Joe celebrated his longtime friend and collaborator by reposting the new track on his IG. “Sheezus Christ @remyma is backkkkk 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” he captioned the post.

Other big names who seem to love “W.Y.F.L.” include Memphis Bleek, Murda Mook, Mia X and Millyz, who all commented on the posts with fire emojis.
