Chris McIntosh stepping down from UW Athletics Director position

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Chris McIntosh, the Athletic Director for University of Wisconsin-Madison, is stepping down from his role with the school.

Sources said that McIntosh, who took over the role from Barry Alvarez in 2021, is stepping away from the position.

McIntosh is set to take another role in the Big Ten Conference underneath the leadership of commissioner Tony Petitti.
