Birmingham City’s Marvin Ducksch
Chris Davies left Marvin Ducksch out of Birmingham City’s squad on Sunday due to an ‘internal matter’.
The two-time Germany international, who is Blues’ top scorer this season with 11 goals across all competitions, wasn’t involved in the 2-0 victory over Wrexham at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
Asked why Ducksch was absent, Davies said: “Marvin was (missing) today because of a decision of mine in terms of the selection of the squad.
“It’s an internal matter which is currently being dealt with and that is, at this moment in time, all I can say.”

Ducksch joined Blues from Werder Bremen last summer and has two years remaining on his contract, although rumours have started to rumble that he could depart when the transfer window re-opens.
Davies declined to confirm whether Ducksch, 32, will be considered for selection when Blues travel to Hull City next week.
“At this moment in time, we need to assess everything and see where we go,” added Davies.
Ducksch has made 35 appearances in all competitions in his first season with Blues but the forward has recently lost his place in the attack to August Priske.
