This comes after Moffatt opened up about the loss of a baby during her time in South Africa. In a clip that aired last week, Moffatt told Sinitta: “After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried and it was just… I remember Scott’s mum and dad took Jude for the day, and me and Scott just laid in bed crying.”
She continued: “You imagine them running downstairs at Christmas together. You like… imagine it, you know. It is hard. It’s awful.”
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, she said: “When you lose a baby in that way, you’re sort of mourning a life that you imagined. It’s just really sad.”
Organisations including Sands and Tommy’s are able to offer help and support to anyone affected by baby loss.
