Ducks’ Radko Gudas out for Game 2 against Oilers

Captain Radko Gudas won’t play in Game 2 against the Edmonton Oilers (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT), head coach Joel Quenneville told reporters.
The Ducks did not disclose the nature of Gudas’s injury. He missed multiple regular-season games in late March and early April due to a lower-body injury.
Gudas played just 9:40 in Game 1 — well down from his season average of 16:10 — as the Ducks dropped a 4-3 decision.
In 56 games on the season, the veteran defenceman had two goals, 11 assists and 67 penalty minutes.
Drew Helleson, 25, will make his playoff debut in Gudas’s place, per Quenneville. He registered two goals and 13 assists in 60 games during the regular season.
