Unifor represents GRT and MobilityPlus operators, MobilityPLUS reservationists, fleet mechanics and service attendants.

850 Grand River Transit workers will vote on that tentative deal at a ratification meeting on Sunday May 3. They were scheduled to strike at 12:01 Friday morning.

Details of the agreement will be released after the results of the vote.

Unifor says the bargaining focused on wages, scheduling and benefits.
