Prediction
Angels 3, White Sox 2
The ANGELS (-150) are worth a look as moderate favorites, solely based upon Soriano’s outstanding numbers, particularly at home.
The White Sox swept the Halos last week, and Martin topped them with a strong effort while Soriano had his worst outing of the season. Expect things to be much different, as the veteran is off to an amazing start.
If you’re a bit conservative, consider WHITE SOX +1.5 (-170) catching the run and a half.
Again, they swept the Halos last week, and Martin has been pitching really well, too. Chicago has won 5 of the past 6 games, so this isn’t an exotic pick by any stretch.
UNDER 7.5 (-105) is a strong option, even though it appears a bit low on the surface. But Martin and Soriano should put up a lot of donuts if they pitch the way they have been.
Going with UNDER 4 (-115) – FIRST 5 INNINGS isn’t a bad play, either, as that is how strong both starting pitchers have been.
