A Midland man has been charged with online child luring.
In February, Peel Regional Police began an investigation into an unknown person who was reportedly using social media platforms to lure youths younger than 16 for a sexual purpose.
Investigators identified the man as Stanley Marion, 35, who they say was operating numerous social media accounts under the following personas:
- Maverick
- Yxaikir
- Ace.wilde
- AceryZero
- MaveryZero
On March 16, Marion was arrested and charged with luring a child under the age of 16 (two counts) and luring a child under the age of 18.
Police believe Marion may have contacted additional youths online.
