Knicks news: Ben Stiller, Kylie Jenner boyfriend among New York fans who traveled to Game 3 vs. 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers returned home for Games 3 and 4 of their second round series against the New York Knicks. Even through they trailed 2-0, the Sixers felt good about their chances to get back in the series at home.

Entering the series, 76ers star Joel Embiid pleaded with Philly fans not to sell their tickets to Knicks fans and instead focus on making Games 3, 4, and potentially 6 a real home-court advantage at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

“I just have a message for our fans,” Embiid said after the 76ers won Game 7 against the Boston Celtics in the first round. “Last time we played the Knicks, it felt like this was Madison Square Garden East. So we’re going to need their support. Don’t sell your tickets. This is bigger than you. We need you, guys, the atmosphere that we’ve had the last couple of games in Philly, especially the last one, pushing us to Game 7. Knicks fans, they travel, they’re going to buy the tickets.”

The Sixers then elected to limit ticket sales for their second round home games to those only living in the greater Philadelphia area.

Well, the 76ers may have tried, but they weren’t able to fully stop Knicks fans from showing up and showing out for their fans. That includes the very well-known celebrity fans of New York.

Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, and Spike Lee were among those who attended Game 3 in Philadelphia. It’s a quick trip to New York, but it’s more than likely that these same characters will show up for Game 4 back in Philly as well.
