During the ceremony, Gilmore voiced her concerns about the long-distance arrangement, believing that he would not leave his life and work in Sydney for her in Melbourne. “I am falling for you. Rachel, I choose you, and I’m diving in headfirst, fearless,” Steven said in his vows. However, the relationship ended a couple of weeks later. “I was willing to put in the effort, but ultimately it happened exactly the way I was concerned it was going to happen,” Gilmore said in an interview with New Day, before adding, “Steven went back to life in Sydney. He was busy with work, and I became a burden.”Expressing sorrow, the 35-year-old shared that Danyluk had his doubts about their future together. “He’d say, ‘I don’t even know if we’re going to work in the future.’ That was probably the most hurtful thing to say to me,” she voiced, adding that there was always another priority more important than them.

I think you need a man who can actually give you what you want.’ Furthermore, Gilmore expressed that she was informed about the times Steven Danyluk casually lied about his whereabouts during the reality show while she was on her girls’ trip in Thailand. “If you’re lying to me about your whereabouts, what else are you lying to me about?”, she said, pondering in hindsight.
