Mediterranean fast-casual concept My Big Fat Shawarma announced it’s teaming up with Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart.
A metro Detroit chain with three locations and soon to open a fourth, the My Big Fat Shawarma partnership with Stewart focuses on its signature “Big Fat Bowl” menu item.
Stewart’s featured Big Fat Bowl is a double-protein option of chicken and seasoned steak, plus a choice of a base, like rice or lettuce, and fresh toppings of your choice. You can finish off the bowl by topping the ingredients with a house-made fat sauce, regular or spicy, or any other sauce.
Across My Big Shawarma’s social channel are promotions featuring the Piston centers and his go-to order. Promotions will include giveaways of a signed Isaiah Stewart jersey and autographed sneakers, according to a news release.
My Big Fat Shawarma has three locations, Midtown Detroit, Warren and West Bloomfield, offering Middle Eastern fare. On its menu, My Fat Shawarma says its meat is halal and its chicken is organic, which you can pair with house-made sauces and soups. You can build your own bowls, shawarma or salads.
A Beverly Hills location at Southfield Road and 13 Mile is scheduled to open this summer. Stewart is set to appear at the location’s grand opening.
