Hamilton police data shows crime is down, but fear persists amid fatal shootings

VIDEO: A report from Hamilton police says many people in the city are worried about safety when they go downtown. The police say overall crime is actually down in the city, but people are telling them they don’t want to live in fear.
The police presented crime figures at a summit with community leaders on downtown safety today, following a number of high-profile shootings in the core.
