How to watch rugby league on TV this week as Hull KR v Wigan Warriors headlines 12 Super League and NRL games

There is lots of rugby league for fans to watch on TV this week with a full slate of Super League games, headlined by Hull KR versus Wigan Warriors, as well as more NRL action.

With several NRL teams on bye, it means there are just 12 games of rugby league on TV this week but that’s still plenty and some of the match-ups are very intriguing.

Thursday sees Canberra Raiders host the Dolphins in the first game of the NRL action but that evening, Hull KR take on Wigan Warriors in a Challenge Cup dress rehearsal that has sadly been diluted to the Warriors’ heavy squad rotation.

As such, it makes Friday night’s Super League action potentially the highlight with Leigh Leopards hosting Hull FC as Huddersfield Giants travel to face Leeds Rhinos. The NRL action that morning pits 14th v 13th as the Bulldogs host the Storm.

There are five games on Saturday with NRL high flyers the Warriors and Sea Eagles taking on the Dragons and Titans, respectively. Super League action starts at 3:00 pm with Castleford Tigers against St Helens before the evening sees both French teams in action, as Wakefield travel to Toulouse and York host Catalans.

Sunday’s action rounds off the weekend of rugby league with the Cowboys taking on the Bunnies and Bradford Bulls seeking a first away win of the Super League season when they take on Warrington Wolves.
