Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott made their red-carpet debut as a soon-to-be family of three at the Tonys. Abbott, who’s nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Play for Death of a Salesman, posed with Plaza on the way into Radio City Music Hall looking ready to both win a Tony and be a dad.
Plaza and Abbott revealed their relationship and the news that they’re expecting their first child at the same time in April. Since then, they’ve been out and about on the Broadway scene — they were photographed together at the opening-night party for Death of a Salesman a few days after announcing the pregnancy, but this is the first time the pair has walked the carpet as a couple.
Plaza, who’s described her pregnancy as a “beautiful surprise,” has really been enjoying cracking jokes about when she’s going to go into labor. Maybe P!nk can work that into her programming tonight? Just an idea.
