Emily Ratajkowski stopped having sex with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard six months after their son, Sylvester, was born.
The 35-year-old model made the candid confession in a new essay for the Cut, which included a photo shoot of her breastfeeding a doll.
Ratajkowski recalled that after she welcomed her son in March 2021, she experienced “a violent transition into a new reality of screaming baby on my aching tit and ring on my swollen finger.”

She said her “marriage collapsed” over a period that “felt both instant and excruciatingly slow.”
“Six months after my son was born, my husband and I stopped having sex,” Ratajkowski wrote. “Less than a year later, we separated.”
Page Six exclusively revealed Ratajkowski split from Bear-McClard, 45, in July 2022 after 4½ years of marriage.
Sources told us the filmmaker allegedly cheated on Ratajkowski.
“He’s a serial cheater,” the insider said. “It’s gross. He’s a dog.”

The following year, Bear-McClard was accused of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior with teen girls in an explosive Variety exposé. He has not addressed the allegations.
Ratajkowski, who finalized her divorce from Bear-McClard last summer, told the Cut that people looked at her in a “condescending way” after her divorce.
“Their furrowed brows, the pity in their faces as they delivered an ‘I’m so sorry, Emily,’” she explained. “I couldn’t stand my pathetic reflection in their eyes. They saw me as someone who was unwanted, who had been left.”

Ratajkowski said as a kid it “was crucial” to her “to avoid becoming a single mom” because she considered the term “an insult.”
“Having a child with the wrong man was the fastest way to ruin your life as a woman — it meant having no freedom, no choices, no emergency exit,” she shared. “All baggage and no security.”
Ratajkowski, however, quickly learned to embrace her single mom status and went on a hookup “mania” — boasting that she “decided to f–k my way into a new kind of woman.”
As the men came and went, Ratajkowski realized her single era was nothing like her life before marriage.

“Before my separation, I’d never had a one-night stand. I’d never slept with someone the same day I met them. In fact, I’d only slept with eight people: four of whom had been live-in boyfriends, and one of whom was my male best friend in high school,” she explained.
“I didn’t f–k anyone I wasn’t pretty sure would fall in love with me because I wanted to be precious.”
She listed the “uniquely disturbed characters from man hell” she dated in New York, including a DJ from Brooklyn who told her over dinner that incest runs in his family.
“But he was an anomaly,” she said about the DJ. “There was Vegan Graffiti Artist with impeccable posture, Chef who thought he might have chlamydia, Spanish Gen-Zer who couldn’t stop sending me nudes, heavily self-medicated Son of a Billionaire with questionable politics, several Italians, and, of course, another DJ.”
“The list goes on but, for legal reasons, will not,” Ratajkowski added.

The actress’s most serious situationship was with a man she dubbed “Elder Millennial” who told her he thought he was in love with her after three weeks of knowing each other, which gave her “a flicker of familiar anxiety in my chest.”
Ratajkowski explained it didn’t sit well with her that “Elder Millennial” would call her a “whore” to get her to have sex, so eventually she dumped him by telling him, “The dirty talk isn’t really working for me.”
Ratajkowski compared her post-divorce behavior to being a “supervillain” such as Poison Ivy or Catwoman, admitting she acted “as misguided and vulnerable as I’d been in my 20s when I was playing the good girl.”
She also said she “wasn’t getting off on the sex” because she was “too preoccupied” with loving and caring for her son, which sparked her decision to fully end her hookup phase.
