Emma Raducanu pulls out of Nottingham event after reaching final at Queen’s

Raducanu started Sunday’s final wearing significant strapping on the inside of her left thigh, which she removed late in the first set.
After her defeat, she said: “I have just been dealing with a few niggles over the past few weeks, and of course the load I have had in the last week.”
Last month saw Raducanu reunite with Andrew Richardson, the coach who guided her to that US Open triumph as a qualifier.
Raducanu posted on Instagram on Monday morning: “A special week. Thank you London. Thank you Queens, all of your support & the atmosphere this week at home meant everything to me. It hurts but it’s just more fuel. To my team too, all your resilience and efforts to get me here.”
